“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal : But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal : For where your treasure, there will your heart be also.”
Matthew 6:19 to 21
The Bible teach us so much about our day-to-day lives. When we start reading it, with no preconceptions, with our own eyes, mind and heart, we even start to recognise things we already knew. For example, everyone, or almost everyone knows that real treasures aren’t material. But what do we do with that knowledge? So the Bible teaches one of the most important things in life… Action. What do we Do with what we Know? What do we Do with what we Have? Something good? Something bad? Nothing?
“If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them : Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled ; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body, What doth it profit?”
Think about it… What do you really Have? And what do you really Do with It?
“For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men : As FREE, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. ” 1st Peter 2:15, 16
What is Freedom? To say what you want? To do what you want? To act as you feel? Is it possible to be free in this world? That’s what we hear all the time : ” It’s a free world! ” … But… Is it really? Free of What??
” Our integrity sells for so little, but is the very last inch of us. But within that inch, we are Free.” – In “V for Vendetta”
Do You feel Free?
Aren’t we all always chasing dreams? Since the beginning of Times, the Human Being has been on a Quest. A quest for knowledge. For truth. Happiness. Feeling. A Quest to keep on Dreaming… Because there are so many things going wrong in this world. So much injustice.
What if there was something that would teach you about all these things? About Knowledge, Truth, Happiness, Feeling, Dreaming? About the injustice in this world? About Yourself?
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation : but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
The Bible teaches you about all these things, and so much more… Did you know that there was a time when reading the Bible was strictly forbidden? There were men who fought all their lives so that the Bible could be available to everyone. Some of them were chased and even killed, just for translating it. Why? What does it have to give to each of us?
Here we invite you to find out… Matthew, Apostle of Christ, was a man, a human being, a sinner, like us. Onde day he made a choice, in his heart and mind. To follow the Son of God. He wrote and left us a Gospel, wich is now the beginning of the New Testament.
Hope you accept this invitation. Hope you share it with others!
“There are more sure marks of authenticity in the Bible than in any profane history.” Sir Isaac Newton
The world makes us believe that the Truth is a fantasy… Every lie is constructed on top of an important truth. Can’t you hear that in your heart? Even just for a single moment… Everyone of us… Know. And from then On, everything is a matter of choice. A choice of searching the Truth by ourselves, or accepting what the world gives us as right answers. Trough the Internet. Trough the media. Trough thousands of books explaining all the mysteries of the Universe. And there is still a choice of pretending that you don’t know or feel anything, and look for some comfort in the parallel reality that the excess of drugs and alcohol provides… Which will be your choice? Move on with the given answers and spend All your free Time watching tv series, football, going to big festivals…? Or to spend A Little bit of that time… Searching… With your own eyes… And Heart…?
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you : For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Matthew 7:7,8
“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” 1 John 1: 5
