Hope to hear from you soon!

Inside Out

” And because wickedness is multiplied, most men’s love will grow cold. ” Mathew 24:12

We talk a lot about what surrounds us. What about what’s inside of us? Virtual “living” is killing our senses day by day, feeding an emptiness that makes us feel more and more stressed and lonely… Which was the last book you have read? When was the last time you got out to see the sun rising? Did you ever smiled at a stranger (face to face)? Or walk barefoot in a forest, feeling the autumn leaves crackling under your feet?

It’s true that the world is sick… But healing starts inside each one of us first…

” And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. ” Revelation 21:4

There is Hope! ❤

Starting Over

It’s always hard to start over. In every aspect of our lives. When we slow down on something, it’s hard to regain “speed”. When we lose something, or feel like it, it’s hard to have the will to try again. When we’re tired, it’s hard to rise to fight again. When we lose Faith, or we don’t feed Faith as we should, it’s hard… To Live!

But everyone has the chance to start again. To honestly regret, and try again. To believe again and enjoy what’s yet left to Live!

Restart. Try again. You may be so surprised and Fulfilled…

” Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them. “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinnedagainst heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
“The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
“But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate. “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’ “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’ “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”

Luke 15:11, 32

We Hope it Inspires You to… Go for It! 😊

A Touch of Magic

What is Magic? It’s a difficult “topic” to write about… Because there are moments and feelings that have no words to describe them.

Magic… Moments. That can last a second. Or a lifetime. Or that you feel like a second. Or like time has stopped somehow!

“With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” (2 Peter 3:8)

Moments os Sharing. Of Giving. Of Living. Simple things like beeing gifted with the opportunity to admire a perfection of a snow flake for a few seconds… Deep emotional like our son’s birth.

And Life itself? Created trough God’s Word… In Genesis, before each moment of Creation, we can read “God SAID” …

There are so many things that we don’t understand. But does that mean that they aren’t true? What about what we feel? What about those “phenomenons” that science cannot explain?

” After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes (…) So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.” ( John 9:6)

And also those situations we go trough, and after we start to think it was an illusion of our minds… Was it?

The Bible is full of examples of Magic… From the Creation itself to the most misterious situations. Like when Elijah was taken with a chariot of fire (2 Kings 2:11), or when Philip was taken by the Spirit of God to somewhere else, after he baptised the eunuch (Acts 8:26 to 40)…

“Whoever has ears, let them hear.” (Mathew 11:15)

We all believe. Some, just do not… Seek!

What is Magic for You?? Share with us 🙂 !

What is to be a Christian?

” By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? ” Matthew 7:16

What is to be a Christian? Like the word says, beeing, To Be. It’s not just saying we are. It is Beeing, trough actions. A Christian finds his shelter in God. Is that your case? A Christian Acts accordingly with what he/she says. Is that what you do, or try to?

” Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple “Yes” or “No.” Otherwise you will be condemned. ” James 5:12

A Christian reads the Bible with open heart and mind, seeking for Knowledge, comfort, Direction… Do you read the Bible? What do you seek? A Christian speaks with God everyday trough Prayer… Do you? Do You seek for Him in your everyday, in your highs and lows? A Christian tries to imitate Christ. He/She doesn’t try to be perfect… But tries Today to be a little bit better than yesterday. Today to Do a little bit more than yesterday. And if we fall… If we fail…

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24 to 27

How do we recognize a Christian? By it’s way of Beeing. Of Acting. By the way he/she deals with the storms in his/her life… By the way he/she Shares… Laughs… Cries…
Lives… Because the message of God is Life. And Life manifests itself… In so many different ways…

” (…) out of weakness were made strong (…) ” Hebrews 11:34

Time

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time torefrain from embracing;
a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.”
(Ecclesiastes 3:1 to 8)

Time must be one of the things we talk about more, but live less… “If I have time I’ll do this.” “If I had the time I would…” “There’s no time for…” “Time flies” … What is this time? Sometimes a second feels like eternity, and one month goes by with a blink of an eye. (2 Peter 3:8)

Is it really about the time, or is it about the way we “deal” with it? It’s a strange world… So much technology invented to give us less work and more time, but still we run more, and more, with so much to do, feeling so tired… (Matthew 6:25 to 34)

When we really want something with all our hearts, and it’s something worthy, if we dedicate ourselves to “construct” it, aren’t we Earning time instead of spending it or just letting it run? (Luke 6:48 to 49)

Thinking about time as something measured with clocks and calendars… Has two effects. Or it creates anxiety, or it makes us feel like we have “eternity” for what we want. But it’s not like that…(James 4:14)

The world makes us believe that time is like a straight line, from birth to death… But what if time is like a sphere, and the one’s who live around that sphere, run and run, trying to see whats next, but unable to see it, because of the sphere’s curvature… The one’s who live inside that sphere, really living life instead of letting life passing by… Are able to see better… To slow down… To breathe and feel…

And if you, who kept reading this until this point, are asking yourself why are we, as Christians, talking like this about time, if everyone knows that the Bible talks about Eternity… We ask you… Is Eternity related to time as we think we know it?

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

So many things we don’t know… Let’s make good use of what we call time, and look for those that really matter.

Thank You!

(2 Peter 3:8) “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”

(Mathew 6:25 a 34) “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

 (Luke 6:48 a 49) “They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.” (Luke 6:48 to 49)

(James 4:14) “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”

Decision Making

There is a fantastic book which talks about a shepherd who followed a dream he had more than once… He left everything he knew behind… He lost, he won, he learned. He LIVED. His life changed Forever. But which was the most important point, the point that really changed his life? It’s when he Decided… To Go…

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.”
(Hebrews 11:1,2)

No matter what you dream, what you want, what you believe in. If you don’t make : Decisions And Act, and really pursuit your dream,there is no way it can become real.

“By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”
(Hebrews 11:3)

We live in a world that “makes” all the decisions for us. Tv Shows, food, cars, clothes, ideal relationships, the house of “our” dreams… Trough publicity, the world seems to know exactly what you need… And therefore, you don’t need to decide… Because it’s allready decided for you, or because it’s to risky to take unknown paths…

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
(Deuteronomy 31:6)

Be… Bold!

Evil?

How many times have You thought, when watching or reading the news, “What made that person do that? What was on his/her mind? What’s going on in the world? ” ?

How many times have you thought that “conspiracy plan” is not a fantasy at all?? That there is something, someone, controlling us? Trough fear, distractions, consumism, trough our own emotions (or the absence of emotions…) … There are many who prefer to believe that all the bad things that happen in this world are a proof that God doesn’t exist. Maybe it’s easier to think that God doesn’t exist instead of admitting what we already know. That there is Evil. According to the Bible we can even say that there is an Emperor of the Dark Forces. An Evil that hides behind so many other evil things.

“And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him. ” Apocalipse 12: 9

This “fallen” Angel who received the Titles of Satan and Devil, wich mean Oppositor and Slanderer, was formerly in the Beginning of Time a Divine Angel of God :

” Whereupon were the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? ” (Job 38: 6, 7)

Vanity, took him to a rebellion against God Himself. There are many passages in the Bible that we can consult to know him better.
Jesus The Christ speaks openly about the devil. For example in the Episode of Temptation in Matthew 4, or in John 8:44 :

” Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stood not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof. ”

Nowadays many are the ones that disregard, speaking of Beelzebub (another of his infamous titles) as a metaphor. An accurate biblical reading will make us… Feel…Understand…Evil.
Even a careful observation of our society today and in the past makes us stumble on hedious crimes against the Human Being in the most varied aspects. In politics, in so many social aspects, in religion and other ways a human being can be harmed.
Even “inexplicable” murders that occur, some of them in mass, without apparent explanation. Or is there an explanation?
The explanation exists.

The “Orchestrator” of this world has its reasons and also they are described in the Bible.

Seek for The Truth…

United VS Uniformed

Isn’t it good to feel understood, accepted, embraced, helped, listened? Loved? All of us seek for these things… Unfortunately there are those who wear a mask to please others, so they can get all of that, even if they are not beeing themselves. There are also those who accept things with which they don’t agree or believe, so they can still be accepted. By their families, friends, in their jobs, churches… This is so… Emptying…

” Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” ”
(Corinthians 12:15 to 21)

This is what Apostle Paul taught… Ancient Christians believed that Unity only exists with differences. We believe in this. Our King, Christ, chose 12 disciples, all so different from one another…

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
(John 13:34,35)

Is there Love with no Respect?

Love yourself and love others. Be yourself and Respect others. There is no need to be equal to be United.

A King’s Tale

Once upon a time there was a King. When He came, there were those who didn’t recognize Him, and others who were disappointed. Because He wasn’t the kind of king they expected.
This King… Was different from all Kings. He ruled with Love above all things. A Teacher who taught humility by washing His students feet (John 13:5) . A Warrior with a unique armour… And a powerful weapon, fighting in a different battlefield (Ephesians 6:12 to 17).
To those who questioned and offended Him… He replied with Words and Actions of Respect, Justice, Wisdom, Love. Crowds followed Him.
He was so Special that there was a woman who cried over His feet and dried them with her own hair (Luke 7:38)…

His name? Emanuel. Yeshua. Better known as Jesus Christ.

Because we believe He still lives, we reinforce the invitation made since the beginning of this blog. To know this Great King who taught with Words and Actions, in flesh and bone. Like us.
Hope you recognize Him in your own Heart. We can share and invite, but each one’s Path is individual!
